About the festival

The OnderwijsFestival is the stage for all UU education professionals: lecturers, education support staff, key users, policy staff, education directors, (vice-)deans of education, students, etc. They are UU's education community. They come together on this day to share information and exchange ideas about the quality and developments in education, but above all to meet each other, relax and get inspired.

Every year, there are a few set items on the programme. Attention is paid to teachers who are doing research on their own teaching. Also, the winners of the annual Teacher Awards and the UU Team Award are announced. In addition, every year the programme is filled with interesting and inspiring workshops on current education topics. In short, a day full of workshops, inspiration sessions, relaxation and entertainment, with plenty of room for meeting and exchanging with colleagues while enjoying delicious snacks and drinks in a festival atmosphere.

Organisation

The OnderwijsFestival is organised by the Centre for Academic Teaching and Learning (CAT). The CAT, together with its partners and a programme committee, which changes every year, fills the programme of the day.

This year, the committee consists of Christianne Smit (chair), Roos van der Aa, Esther van Dijk, Jelke de Haan, Nadine Nonnekes, Rebecca Nordquist, Frans Prins, Carina Schott, and Bjorn Wansink. On behalf of the CAT, Mayke Jildou Schlatmann and Anouk Rademaker are part of the committee.
