Shaping your students: they are allowed to clash!

Workshop
10:45-12:15
Room: Opzoomerkamer
Language: Nederlands

By Marije van Braak.

Good teaching is about collision: collision of the students with the material, with others, and with themselves. A collision in this sense is an encounter with the 'world' in which the students find themselves. Your job as a teacher is to help students find the golden middle in which they learn to relate to the world around them. How do you do that? And what does this say about your pedagogical task as a teacher?

In this workshop, we explore these questions using authentic fragments from teaching interaction, resulting in all kinds of questions to exchange with your colleagues and teacher actions you can try out in your next lectures.
